Hello Guys!! I hope you all are doing fine in this partial lockdown. So here i am back with my another blog to entertain you. Today i will tell you about my visit and facts about India Gate. India Gate standing tall in the memory of those brave hearts who gave blood and life for the nation.
The India Gate is situated in the Central Zone of the New Delhi, It is a war memorial build in the memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in different wars to protect the nation from enemy. This historic place receives several thousand visitors everyday from all corners of the world.On the gate, name of 13300 soldiers are inscribed. The 'Amar Jawan Jyoti' (Flame of the Immortal Soldier) standing tall here in the memory of soldiers who lost lives during Bangladesh Liberation war in 1971. The eternal flame burn 365*24*7 in the honor of brave the soldiers.
TRAVEL TIPS
India Gate is a picnic hotspot throughout the year. To me this place is truly healing. You can visit here during anytime of the day or night and in any weather. There is children park near to the India Gate where children can play inside of the field, balloon seller comes around you and also could eat local street foods such as some popular are Dahi Bhalla, Gol Gappe, Bhelpuri etc., as well as ice cream and cold drink seller. You'll feel so amazing after visiting the place. Many students come on the educational tour to India gate.
I should recommend everyone to visit the place and witness the beauty of India Gate . Enjoy the place see how different people from different places of different culture and religion come together to witness the memorial of the brave army soldiers.
