Hello Guys!!! I hope you all are doing fine, here i am back with my another blog. In the last blog I explored Jama Masjid which near to Chandni Chowk and Red Fort, So in this blog i will going to tell you about Red For (Lal Quila).
I took a battery rickshaw from Jama Masjid to Red fort the distance is not so far, As i reached the Lal Quila me and friend buy the entrance ticket which is 50 rupees. Red fort is quite huge complex it is very difficult to explore whole complex in just one day, I spent almost 4 hours in the fort.
It was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who also constructed the world-famous Taj Mahal, in the 17th century. The fort is the residence of the Mughal Emperor, and their families. It was also the place from where the emperors ran their vast empire. Currently designated as a UNESCO world Heritage.
There are different complex in the fort i.e
· Diwan-i-Aam
· Diwan-I-Khas
· Nahr-i-Behisht
· Zenanas and Rang Mahal
· Moti Masjid
· Hayat Bakhsh Bagh
There is also sound and light show in the evening, it tell about the Mughal incidents which is the major tourist attraction. Fort also have 3 museums which display the archaeological discoveries. In the next blog we i'll tell you about the architecture of the Red Fort in detail.
